Riyad is an Awarded Syrian Architect/artist who goes by the alias Scribble شخوطة. He specialises in both digital and physical paintings, often depicting female portraiture as his preferred subject matter of choice. His work blends abstract and surreal art styles with Scribbles influence from his upbringing. He paints with the intention of capturing fleeting and intangible feelings, portraying his figures suspended in time. Since beginning on his artistic career, he has adopted and lived by his motto, “Be right back, chasing dreams.”
Riyad started drawing as a child, often losing himself in his sketchbooks. He went on to paint digitally in 2017 after receiving his first Wacom tablet. In his final years of high school, he began experimenting with charcoal ,oil and ink colors . Consequently, he fell in love with the medium and has defined himself as both a physical & digital artist ever since.
Riyad currently exhibiting his work in galleries world wide and maintains a presence on social media. He intends to continue his current projects and pursuits.
